Celtic skull - sunshine - 10-05-2015

Yes! I finished it today! Added some rusty red stripes here and there, but otherwise not a lot changed after my last WIP...

So here you go: the full picture of my painting, taken in the sunshine, on the grass of my lawn.

About the symbolism on the wall:
Raven (right corner, down & left middle)    - Celtic symbol for death, afterlife, communication
Serpent (right corner, up)                        - Celtic symbol for healing, wealth, authority 
Shield knot (left corner, up)                     - Celtic symbol for protection
Spiral (right down and left up)                  - Celtic symbol for life,  eternity, rebirth, walk of life
Trinity knot (left middle)                          - probably Celtic symbol for the Goddess (maid, mother, and crone); other possiblilties: divisions of animal                                                                kingdom and domains of earth - Holy Trinity in the Celtic Christian Church
